Equation of Rest

Reading

Eating

Sleeping

Time

Add a little rain and quiet and you have the perfect mix for a restful afternoon! (Isn't it strange the things a brain can come up with between being woken up and being really awake?)

Rain always makes me feel sleepy, so I'm happy when it rains at night - as long as it's not an extremely loud thunder storm! I don't like lightning that much either.

Well put together ! Truly a creative inspiration : ) I like the little pictures, too. You could print it and frame it and hang it up. I guess you did, in cyberspace.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Love, Mom

That sounds really nice. It has been really busy here lately. Chris's grandparents are visiting and all the fall/school activities are gearing up so we have had a meeting for something almost everyone evening after work. It sure would be nice to have a REST day.

Ivory, I hope you find some time to rest soon. We start AWANA today - I'm eager to begin. It's fun to get another batch of kids each year. Have you started yet?

We had our first night last night and it was a great first night of AWANA. It didn't seem quite as chaotic a previous years. I am working with 4th grade girls this year. What age group are you working with?

I'm still with the 1st Grade Sparks. We only had 12 sparks (usually we had about 18 last year) so the class was small. But out of those 12, 8 of them were first graders so my class was actually larger than usual. Last year I only averaged 5. Our first night went really well. My experiment I think got across and I think we're going to have a lot of fun this year.

What experiment?
